Kip oversees EMCOR Services Mesa Energy Systems’ 10 office locations in addition to the HVACR service operations, production, and recruiting departments. He supports the maintenance/repairs, automation, and energy needs of client facilities and assures a single line of communication for all multiple-site clients within Mesa's national and regional service divisions. Kip assists in the start up, deployment, and continued operations of multiple offices, increasing Mesa's footprint and contributing to the "service self performance" model. Kip is consistently researching and guiding Mesa's service business to new heights in customer satisfaction, revenue, margins, and maintenance base while maintaining focused goals internally and externally with new and existing clients.
Throughout his career, Kip has had significant involvement in all aspects of the mechanical HVACR service business, including field, dispatch, sales, operations, and finance departments. His 17 years of field experience leverages his abilities in service management and provides a unique perspective for leadership and oversight beyond the profit and loss statements. Kip began his career in the field and soon after completed a five year United Association Apprentice Program in Los Angeles. From there, Kip took on roles with increased responsibility, including a Journeyman, a Foreman, and advancing to a service manager position for Comm Air and Cal Air Inc., before joining the Mesa team.
His knowledge of California's multiple areas of populated geography along with his association and understanding of all local unions in California has benefited Mesa's growth in the service business. Mesa’s maintenance base has grown from $5M to $22M during his tenure, with revenues growing from $8M to over $80M.
Kip holds an AA degree from Fullerton College and a bachelor’s degree in education from California State University Fresno. He has certified journeyman air conditioning status along with universal EPA and OSHA 10 certifications.
