As the head of Mesa Energy Systems’ Northern California operations, Mike ensures SF Bay Area and Sacramento clients get consistently responsive care and high-performance building systems. To achieve this, his teams of experienced sales and operations professionals deliver expert mechanical, heating and air conditioning, building automation systems (BAS) and energy services. In addition, Mike is on the executive leadership team that continuously reviews the company’s policies and procedures to ensure that they effectively address local market needs such as commercial HVAC energy reduction and Turbocor installation services.
HVAC Services Expertise
Mike has worked in the HVAC industry since 1985. During that time, he worked for manufacturers’ representatives, manufacturers and design/build contractors that operated service organizations. His roles in sales and management positions with York International, Carrier Corporation, Southland Industries Services Company (SISCO), and R.F. MacDonald Company shaped his approach to managing an HVAC business. He became Mesa Energy Systems’ director of sales in 1996.
During his career, he has had extensive experience in developing the expert teams necessary to apply best-in-class service practices to a full range of capabilities, including new mechanical equipment engineering, energy engineering, sourcing, contracting, HVAC repair/retrofit and customer service. Furthermore, in an industry where change and improvement are constants, he has kept up with the latest advances in HVAC technology and the many ways those advances can add value for Mesa Energy Systems’ clients.
Mike holds a bachelor’s in business from California State University at Fullerton with a concentration in marketing and an emphasis on sales management. He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).
The Personal Side
Mike and his wife have four children. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. His personal hobbies include coaching and playing basketball, golfing and skiing.
