Don has been in the mechanical systems industry since he began working for a plumbing and refrigeration contractor at the age of 15. In 1982, he completed the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) program at the Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix. After a five-year stint as a service technician, he joined the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters, Local 469. In 1992, he moved to York International as an industrial chiller technician, where he worked his way up into foreman and later, service manager positions. After Johnson Controls purchased York, he spent two years as a chiller team manager, before becoming service operations manager. He took his current post with EMCOR Services Arizona in 2008.

The Personal Side

Don enjoys spending time with his family, as well as fishing, hunting, boating and traveling. He also likes to ride dirt bikes, street bikes and quads.
