EMCOR Services Mesa Energy Systems Helps Client Win Innovation Award

On January 27, 2016, EMCOR Services Mesa Energy Systems joined their client from the InterContinental Los Angeles Century City at Beverly Hills (The InterContinental Hotel Century City) for the The Los Angeles Better Buildings Challenge (LABBC) 2nd Annual Innovation Awards.

The Intercontinental Hotel Century City received the Energy Efficiency Project of the Year award for their outstanding work toward the LABBC program’s goal to reduce energy and water consumption 20% by 2020.

The InterContinental contracted EMCOR Services Mesa Energy Systems to complete an ASHRAE level II energy audit and design/build a complete optimized central plant upgrade. In addition, The InterContinental Hotel Century City will be receiving incentives for upgraded energy efficient lighting, and various water reduction projects throughout the property.

These projects achieved annual energy savings of 22 percent.
